A long-sealed jump gate connecting Stanton to the Pyro system is opened. Pyro is lawless, no UEE jurisdiction, no refueling network, no help coming. Pilots go anyway.

Xenothreat declares war on the UEE

A splinter faction of Pyrotechnic pirates and ex-military hardliners launches coordinated attacks on Stanton-Pyro traffic. The UEE Navy responds. The conflict is ongoing.

Pyro opens officially

CIG, sorry, the UEE, declares the Pyro system fully explored and mapped. Civilian presence is discouraged but not illegal. New citizens arrive daily.
